general.

• "Synodiporia" - this whole thing we're all involved in, apparently. (What does that even mean? Oracle would probably know if it's an actual word...) [x]
  • "Fellow travelers"! Or "those who walk together". It's Greek, apparently. Don't know if that means anything or if they just had to pick something to call us, but hey, at least we know now. [x]
• Each Jaunt might be... sponsored? Hosted? By a specific Trump, for a specific purpose. (What, are they taking turns? How does this work out if they're fighting each other?) Pretty sure each Jaunt is a particular Trump's show, but that doesn't mean others won't show up. With or without permission. [x x]
  • Grid might have been the Magician, trying to recover the Hermit. (So they're... maybe friends? Allies at least? Vs. the Lovers and the Devil?) [x x]
  • The Devil would be an easy choice for Purgatory. Leonardo thinks the Name was meant to go to Hell, which would support that, but who knows? [x]
  • If the High Priestess claimed people in Questing Country and no one else did... does that mean that was hers? Maybe?
  • Nova Venezia: Chariot? Hanged Man??? Maybe both? From what I hear, Chariot was actually doing things while Hanged Man was just... around, but who knows if that means anything. [x]
  • Ninjaland: Two posing as dragons (the Tower and Judgment) and hijacking prayers, two as observers. Wonder why they'd bother coming to watch in person. I assume they all know what's going on in jaunts anyway. [x]
• People go home when they leave, at least some of the time. (Good to know, I guess, even if they can also get kidnapped back here all over again.) [x x]
  • God, I hope Damian's safe at home.
• The King in Yellow - some kind of god or demon of madness, four jaunts before now so... two before the Grid? His sigil keeps showing up in Liminal Space, and maybe as powerful as the Trumps, so that's great. Not drawing the sigil here, because apparently it could let it possess me in a really unpleasant manner. I'll pass. [x]
  • Looks like the sigil might be gone, for now? The High Priestess got rid of it, right after Sarmatia. Wonder why they let it stick around in the first place, if they could pull that off... Maybe something we did gave her the power? [x]
• However infiltration works, the people whose lives we end up in are real. Or can go on without us, at least? Which means when we die infiltrating, actual people are dying too. We screwed up so much... [x]
• "Phase Three" is supposed to happen once every Trump's had their turn running a jaunt. What. The. Hell. That doesn't sound good at all. [x]

trumps.

• Trumps aren't people. (What the hell ARE they, then?) [x]
• Trumps are having some kind of internal conflict. (Who's on which side? What are they fighting over? Who knows. But maybe the excessive number of Batkids is because the Trumps plan to use them against each other. Everyone definitely seems afraid the next step of this is fighting each other.) [x x]
• People Marked by a Trump are under that Trump's control. (How much control? Who freaking knows. Not Robin, apparently.) Appears as a mysterious tattoo w/symbolism of the Trump they belong to. Probably none of the Batkids are Marked so far, but Zatanna is. [x x]
  • Marks seem to be giving off a low-level psychic energy. Different signatures for different Trumps. [x]
  • On the Grid, a couple Trumps argued over who got to mark Zatanna, so... there's got to be some kind of benefit to them behind this. Something that matters. [x]
  • They're only supposed to be marking travelers on "their" jaunts, but some of them are cheating here. [x]
• Trumps can die, several have been killed. (Which ones? How?) Four so far - one is the Star, still not sure about the others. [x x x]
• I asked the Fool about what he needs the Travelers for and he said... well. Something really freaking cryptic. Hands and mouths. Then something about talking for himself, or... not...? I honestly have no idea. [x]
  • Okay, so thinking about this... I think what he meant was that they can't act directly in the worlds they send us to. They need us for that. Maybe that's why they can't actually tell us what they want from us - that would be too much direct interference. Wonder if they actually literally can't, or if the non-interference thing is just a rule they made up for themselves...
  • Matthew asked them what they wanted, and their answer was synodiporia. Us. So... maybe that confirms that they need us to act. Or they want us for something else, but then why bother with the whole jaunt thing at all? [x]

  • Was on Nova Venezia as a proxy, running around and not being particularly chatty [x]
• #9. The Hermit/SAGE
  • Was trapped on the Grid, apparently after he "broke the rules". Lovers and Devil responsible. [x x x]
  • Something about a cure, idk. Was apparently killed but is... maybe okay...? Is a dog or something now??? [x x]
• #11. Hanged Man
  • Also on Nova Venezia as a proxy, hanging around somewhere broken [x]
• #15. The Devil [x]
  • "binding and chains, being trapped or made to do something against your will..." (So kind of like this whole trip?) [x]
  • Responsible for the Automata horde on that first Jaunt. (Kind of hard to miss.) Also trapped SAGE on the Grid. (Not surprising, I guess.) [x x]
• #16. The Tower
  • One of the Dragons in ninjaland. Destruction, disruption, disaster, setting everything back to a blank slate. Fun times. [x x]
  • Marked Jason. Because Jirou wanted to get back at the Imperials, and was willing to be destroyed to do it. And boy, he got his wish.
• #17. The Star
  • Dead. Not sure how or when. I wonder if it was while any of the current travelers were here, or before that?
• #19. The Sun
  • Marked Sera in exchange for information. Which at least seems nicer than some of the others' methods... [x]
• #20. Judgement
  • One of the dragons in ninjaland. Asked Cass to protect Koroshima, not hurt innocents, etc. Could be worse, I guess. [x]
  • Marked Cass. Damn it.
  • Rebirth, the promise of life after death, endings and new beginnings. [x]
